What's new in OptiLayer in 2013 (version 9.96)
New in Color Design
- Color analysis and synthesis options of OptiLayer have received further development:
- The maximum number of color targets has been increased from 99 to 999.
- Formulas related to CIEDE2000 have been introduced in Color analysis and Color Target menu items of OptiLayer. Color Evaluation Parameters allows you to specify Anchor settings that are used for calculations with CIEDE2000 color difference formula. CIEDE2000 evaluation formula is used to compare color of the loaded design at the settings specified in the upper part of the Color Evaluation Parameters window with the color of the same design at Anchor settings. Results of the CIEDE2000 evaluation can be also traced using respective option from a set of Color options in the "Integral values and characteristics" item of the Analysis menu.
- Color Target editing window allows you to specify a new qualifier "C" in the qualifier (Q) column of the editing window. This qualifier corresponds to Anchor targets that are color targets relative to color characteristics of the same design at Anchor settings for spectral characteristic, state of polarization, and angle of incidence. Color Target window has a button "Anchor" allowing one to specify these settings.
