Scattering for oblique incidence has been implemented.

Use the Characteristic page of the Interface Roughness Setup window to set spectral characteristic for the Interface Roughness analysis. Interface Roughness analysis can be performed only for one characteristic, one polarization state and one angle of incidence at a time.

The Interface Roughness analysis option allows evaluating the influence of small scale and large scale interface roughness on the design spectral characteristics. Learn more about the concept of small scale and large scale root mean square (rms) roughness.

Inaccuracy of roughness evaluation of large scale roughness in reflection has been noticed and fixed.


Scattering oblique incidence

Deviations page has been added to Roughness evaluation window. It displays the deviations of spectral characteristics caused by roughness of different kind.

Roughness Evaluation is now possible without loaded design. It allows to estimate the influence of roughness of a single interface between substrate and incidence medium without additional tricks.
